NEW YORK, August 14, 2019 – Inc. magazine today revealed that DecisionPoint Corporation is No. 164 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Additionally, DecisionPoint ranked as the 2nd fastest growing IT Management company nationwide, and the 13th  fastest growing of all Washington, DC area companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $237.7 billion in 2018, accounting for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.

DECISIONPOINT CORP. ACQUIRES FREDERICKSBURG, VA-BASED CORTEK

Acquisition marries IT, mission support services

GAITHERSBURG, MD – OCTOBER 11, 2018 – DecisionPoint Corporation today announced the acquisition of CORTEK, Inc., a Fredericksburg, VA-based provider of mission support services to the federal government. Under terms of the agreement, CORTEK becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of DecisionPoint.

“We are excited to welcome CORTEK – its employees and customers – to the DecisionPoint team,” said Brian Flood, President and CEO, DecisionPoint Corporation. “The acquisition of CORTEK with its extensive experience providing mission support services in the defense and national security space combined with its commitment to operational excellence is key to DecisionPoint’s growth strategy.”

At the same time, the company announced the appointment of Paul Fernandes as President of CORTEK. Fernandes has more than three decades of experience in government contracting, working with small and large companies in the defense, intelligence and national security markets. Fernandes was most recently President and COO of STG, Inc. and helped the company grow from a small business to a government contracting powerhouse with more than $275 million in annual revenues.
